Balinese shoe designer finds fame

Balinese shoe designer Ni Luh Ayu Pertami, has found fame among Hollywood’s A-list celebrities. The designer and owner of Niluh Djelantik has attracted custom from the likes of Cate Blanchett, Uma Thurman, Julia Roberts, Paris Hilton, Cameron Diaz, and model Gisele Bundchen. Luh Ayu Pertami’s hand-made leader shoes are put together by 40 workers in a small atelier in Canggu Village, and have rocketed her to fame in the footwear world.
